About Us
We were both born, raised, and retired in the Adirondack Mountains near the southern end of Lake George and Gore Mountain.
Our Story
Gene ran our construction business for years while I worked as a physics teacher until 2022. We are now spending our time sharing the beautiful Adirondacks through the vacation rental that Gene built with his own two hands and two helpers in 2019. I started gifting Adirondack-themed candles to our wonderful vacation rental guests. A few of them started to ask me where they could purchase more. That is how my line of rustic Adirondack-themed candles was born. We now live on our itty-bitty (but growing) homestead, manage our vacation rental, share blogs about the Adirondacks, and pour candles. We have finally achieved the peace we were seeking and now want to share it with you.
